Dear Fellow Residents of the Eighteenth Judicial District,

I am honored that you selected me to be your District Attorney. My primary mission will be to seek justice. We will ethically, vigorously and professionally prosecute criminal offenses that come before us. I will be a faithful steward of your trust, keeping you informed about all pending cases and potential threats to your person, property or finances.

I have many changes planned for the Eighteenth Judicial District Attorney’s Office. I have assembled an executive team that possesses the skills and experience necessary to make our office one of the best in the nation. All of our employees have pledged to seek justice, by carefully assessing each case regarding innocence or guilt, and by recommending punishments consistent with the severity of the crime alleged. 

I am also committed to fiscal responsibility. At my request, the County Commissioners set my starting salary at the minimum amount allowed by statute which is a reduction from my predecessor. I am here to serve and be accountable to you, ever mindful of the great responsibility that you have entrusted to me.
