DA Citizens Academy2nd Annual D.A. Citizens AcademyThis free six-week academy provides an in-depth understanding of the legal system and the various functions of the 18th Judicial District Attorney's Office. It covers the complex and varied roles of the District Attorney's Office, the functioning of many specialized programs in our judicial system and the criminal proceedings from the time of arrest to post conviction actions. Participants will also gain insight to alternative routes in the judicial process and resources available to victims from the District Attorney's Office. This course is recommended for any citizen who would like an in-depth understanding of the basics of the law and practical proceedings of the 18th Judicial District Attorney's Office. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.Classes start JUNE 3, 2009 And meet every Wednesday through JULY 8, 2009 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Arapahoe County Justice Center Administration Building 7305 S.
