Juvenile ProsecutionThe Juvenile Prosecution unit screens all juvenile cases to determine the appropriateness of an informal adjustment (i.e. referral to the Juvenile Diversion program) or intakes, files, and prosecutes and/or recommends disposition of non-referred cases. The unit also responds to police and public inquiries concerning juvenile prosecution.
