Juvenile Prosecution

The Juvenile Prosecution unit screens all juvenile cases to determine the appropriateness of an informal adjustment (i.e. referral to the Juvenile Diversion program) or intakes, files, and prosecutes and/or recommends disposition of non-referred cases. The unit also responds to police and public inquiries concerning juvenile prosecution.
