Media Relations Staff
Kathleen Walsh - Director of Communications Kathleen Walsh brings more than 10 years of media experience to the 18th Judicial District. She joined the office to become the Director of Communications in 2005. The Director of Communications is the primary liaison between the Office and the press. As such, Kathleen disseminates information to the public through the press in a timely and diplomatic manner. Kathleen has developed her skills in media relations with a successful public relations company and an extensive media background ranging from an award-winning broadcaster to a major network news director and a television spokesperson. Additionally, Kathleen has served as the Public Information Officer for the Aurora Colorado Police Department. Also, Kathleen spent 9 years in the Army Reserves as a Psychological Operations Specialist. This is when she studied Russian at the Defense Language Institute.
