Obtaining Public Records

In general, any request for court public records regarding cases in the 18th Judicial District must be made through that County Court Clerk’s Office. The District Attorney’s Office does not provide this material.

Court Public Records include:

  • Arrest Warrant Affidavits
  • Search Warrants
  • Indictments
  • Any public records in a criminal case, etc.

An individual must request the public court file at the county court clerk's office in the county where the matter occurred.

A free, four-week course that demystifies the criminal justice system and provides an inside look at your District Attorney's Office. The Citizens Academy is open to the public. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
