The District Attorney’s Office is committed to helping victims and witnesses of crime by vigorously protecting their rights. Our office provides victim-witness assistance in both misdemeanor and felony crimes.

 

The mission of the Victim-Witness Assistance Program is to decrease the trauma and the devastating effects of crime on the lives of victims and their families. Victim advocates guide victims through the court process, help victims receive restitution, provide crisis intervention and provide referrals to counseling and community services.
