Examples of Scams
This section contains examples of real mail or Internet scams that were intercepted by the District Attorney's Consumer Protection Bureau. The wording in black type are the words of the actual scam as it was received by our office. To assist consumers in understanding and identifying these scams, we have added our own comments in red type.
