Mary Landerholm has 8 years of experience working within victim services, specializing in training service providers and community members on utilizing a trauma-informed and victim-centered response to exploitation.
Ms. Landerholm is currently the Director of Collective Solutions Consulting, serves as a Lead Training and Engagement Specialist with the National Human Trafficking Training and Technical Assistance Center (NHTTAC) as well as is the Senior Project Director for the Human Trafficking Expert Consult Network for the US Department of State, Office to Combat and Monitor Trafficking in Persons through expertise in content and logistical support for training delivery and survivor engagement programs.
Ms. Landerholm has supported state-wide research, training and education, the Colorado Network to End Human Trafficking Hotline (CoNeht), along with leadership development at the Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking in Denver, Colorado. In 2014, Ms. Landerholm worked as the Interim Executive Director of Prax(us), an agency serving youth and young adults who had experienced exploitation through an anti‐oppression and public health lens.
Ms. Landerholm is currently an Affiliate Faculty member at Metropolitan State University of Denver’s where she’s been teaching an undergraduate human trafficking course and Social Work Policy. Ms. Landerholm was currently appointed as a member for the Colorado Human Trafficking Council mandated by legislation and sponsored by Colorado’s Governor’s office to inform in the state’s anti-trafficking efforts. Ms. Landerholm received her BSW and MSW from the Department of Social Work at Metropolitan State University of Denver.
